The Masters Degree by coursework will be assessed under visa subclass 574 until 30 June 2004. On 1 July 2004, the Masters Degree by coursework will be assessed under financial requirements specified for subclass 573 (Bachelors Degree)
The above financial requirements are for the student only. If the student has any dependent e.g. a spouse or children,different calculations will aplly. The accepted and available liquid finances can be shown in the form of savings in a bank, Fixed Deposits, Provident Fund and Post Office Deposits. Under policy, the exchange rate used to determine financial capacity would be the rate applicable at the time of the student visa application, unless there is a variation of more than 10%.
If you are successfull in your PVA application, you will be required to undertake a medical assessment, pay the first semester tuition fee and get your Overseas Student Health Cover. Australian Student Visa will be issued to you after this.

Students are advised to lodge their student visa application atleast three months before the date that orientation for their course commences. Delays can take plance in processing student visas for any number of reasons.
